If a booking is cancelled by the guest, the process depends on the cancellation policy that you chose on your Spacebase profile. You can either choose one of our 3 cancellation policy options or type in your own policy. You can select one of these cancellation policies in the "Edit" section of the profile of your space on Spacebase.
The three different Spacebase cancellation policies are:
- Flexible. Full refund of fees for cancellation up to 1 day prior event
- Moderate. Full refund of fees for cancellation up to 7 days prior event, 50% refund of fees for cancellation up to 1 day prior event
Please notice that there is a difference between a binding booking (cancellation process described above) and a non-binding reservation. If a customer just reserves a room, you as the space owner have to confirm or decline the reservation. When you reserve the space for the guest, he has three working days to make a binding booking out of the reservation, otherwise the reservation will get cancelled automatically by our system. That means that the cancellation policies described above just apply for bookings, and confirmed reservations.
