Spaces aren’t on top pages on our platform by chance. Space providers, who fully understand the importance of having a nice and clear profile, have highly ranked spaces.
With an intuitive and easy-to-use website and tools, we help you advertise and promote your space successfully. By filling all the mandatory fields properly, you ensure that your space will be booked. Make sure that you write a description both for your venue and your space. Description of the venue aims to provide general information about your company. While description of your space should deliver more detailed information about your space. You are the one who knows your space best, so you can define its distinctive characteristics and let potential bookers know what is so special about your space.
Feel free to write a description of your choice, but also keep in mind our content policy. Here are some tips on how to write a perfect description for your space:
- Basic characteristics
Is your space an abandoned train station or a turn-of-the-century art gallery? Maybe you have a story to tell about yourself? Adding a sense of history to your listing helps increase the value of your space.
After letting potential bookers know basic information about your space (thanks to your perfect intro of a great description), bookers might also be interested in the neighbourhood around your space. The location is a primary concern for the majority of guests, so why not encourage them to book in your neighborhood? Please note that keywords about well-known places near your space could also help you be ranked higher on Google search results.
How will the guests gain access to your space? What parts of your space are accessible during their booking? How many tables/chairs do you have and how can they be set up? Is there a good parking spot or public transportation nearby? Including details about transportation, parking, set up, and access will help eliminate questions.
We try to ensure that every space is equipped with extras like flipchart, whiteboard, projector and screen, etc. Since bookers do find catering extras very essential, it is always a good idea to consider providing catering. Any extras for which guests have to pay extra for outside of the space rental should be disclosed in the description of your space, and not listed in the extras/equipment section. Do you have an extra flip chart which a booker can rent? List the details about those costs here in the description.
Don’t forget to add ‘Please contact the Spacebase team to coordinate additional charges.’
Including reviews from previous guests will definitely attract more bookers. So don’t forget to encourage your guests to let you and others know about the experience in your space.
